Starting point

I've never had a six pack before, but I've been kiiiiinda close at times. Like, if I hadd done some sit-ups, and if I positioned myself in just the right light, and I stood in just the right way, there have been times you could kind of see some definition in my stomach. But that's no good. I'm hoping that tracking my progress on this blog will help motivate me to finally see my abs without having to jump through so many hoops.

These shots were taken January 8, 2018, at a weight of 186.6. That's a good weight for me, but right now I'm just a bit too soft. So the idea is I'll post a new round of pictures—same positions, same lighting, same clothes—every month until June. Hopefully I'll be able to see some good progress in doing so.

Seeing these pictures makes me realize just how much work I need to do on my back. From behind, my shoulders are really slouchy and kind of roll forward. Looks like I'll be focusing on more OH presses and rows.
